
November 14, 2011, Glenview, Ill. - The Metal Construction Association (MCA), an organization of manufacturers and suppliers whose metal wall and roofing components are used in buildings throughout North America, will offer a one-day complimentary seminar "Retrofitting with Metal," specifically geared for design professionals, building owners and facility managers on Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 8 am to 4:15 pm at the Radisson Hotel Milwaukee West near Milwaukee.
In addition to five different one-hour sessions given by industry experts to choose from throughout the day, registrants can attend the Lunch and Learn "Retrofitting with Metal Roof and Wall Systems" and earn up to 6 AIA Continuing Education Hours.

The schedule includes:
8 to 9 am -- Registration and Check-in with Coffee and Exhibits
9 to 10 am -- Choose to attend one of the following presentations:

10:15 to 11:15 am -- Choose to attend one of the following presentations:
* Introduction to Aluminum & Natural Metal Composite Panels (1 CEH)
* Metal-over-Metal Retrofit Re-Roofing Systems (1 CEH)
* Retrofit Roof Systems (1 CEH)
11:30 am to 12:30 pm -- Choose to attend one of the following presentations:
* Introduction to Aluminum & Natural Metal Composite Panels (1 CEH)
* The Perfect Combination: Solar and Metal (1 CEH)
* Metal-over-Sloped Re-roofing Systems (1 CEH)
12:30 to 1:30 pm -- Lunch and Learn: Retrofitting with Metal Roof and Wall Systems (1 CEH) (This course is also approved for USGBC credit)
1:30 to 2 pm -- Exhibits
2 to 3 pm -- Choose to attend one of the following presentations:
