Oh yes! Thanks for my many wonderful friends!!! And, we can all be thankful for the privilege of our life in the twentieth century -- the century of the greatest progress in creating the creature comforts we have - and do - enjoy. Our homes with heat and air conditioning, electric, water and sewage systems, radio, TV, phones, wireless, fax's, autos, planes and roads to assure easy visits with friends and family no matter how far and to speed up the trucks who bring us our every need or desire.

And more! The Plethora of appliances and gadgets that have emancipated our lovely ladies from 12-14 hour days of drudgery. Wow!

Still More: Cyberspace opening new worlds if information - even the maturation of golf into a social game for the masses.

All of that and yet humanity has not learned how to NOT kill each other!! The slightest slur, real or imagined, sparks rage leading to mass killings - a la the Irish protestant, Catholic or this week, an innocent editorial that Mohammed "Would pick one of the Miss World Contestants for a wife." 200 dead - 500 injured - mass property destruction in Nigeria - Insanity run wild!!!

Can we be thankful for our heritage of tolerance? Me-thinks so! Have a good one.
