Q: Hi, I have just listed a project for an equestrian facility to be provided and or erected. What is typical for a square foot price for the supply of a typical spec building and particularly for the erection of it. I have experienced a huge variation in prices offered for a similar spec. What is reasonable to assume? The building is large i.e. 160 clearspan by 320 in length, in northern virginia. Live and snow load and wind capability are not I believe all that onerous. Thanks in advance for your opinion Mick
A: There's really no better way to find out than doing what you just did - use the Metworker. I'm sure a project such as yours will receive plenty of responses. Be sure to follow up with them, then throw out the top and bottom and what you find in the middle is about what you should expect to pay.
