Kingspan Insulated Panels Return to METALCON 2009 With New Product And Exhibit

   Author: Joslyn Fagan
Location: Deland, FL

Deland, Fla., (August 31, 2009) – Kingspan Insulated Panels, Inc., the world’s largest producer of foam core insulated panels, is returning to METALCON International 2009 as an exhibitor and will showcase its new KingZip® Insulated Standing Seam Roof System. Morin, a Kingspan Group Company, will be joining Kingspan Insulated Panels in its booth (#313) to display its range of products. The METALCON International 2009 Conference and Exhibition will be held in Tampa, Fla., October 6 – 8.

As an industry leader, Kingspan Insulated Panels is dedicated to serving the architectural, commercial/industrial, cold storage and food processing markets. Its KingZip Insulated Standing Seam Roof panel is a pre-engineered, zip-up roofing system that provides enhanced performance, design flexibility, aesthetic appeal and fast-track construction. Designed to meet the needs of today’s architects and builders, KingZip is a state-of-the-art alternative to traditional through fastened metal roofs and a wholly integrated and complete roofing system. For maximum thermal performance and a modern, streamlined look, KingZip features a two-piece thermally broken hidden clip design that helps minimize heat loss through the sidejoint and the possibility of condensation at the clip assembly. The panel’s 42-inch width makes it easy to handle and position. Offered in lengths up to 48 feet, KingZip is ideal for low slope applications, delivers a superior degree of weathertightness, and can reduce energy consumption up to 35 percent. Available in five thickness options, with R-values up to 49, KingZip can help meet the requirements for the U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) green building program, as well as ENERGY STAR® and Cool Roofs.

During METALCON 2009, Kingspan will join approximately 8,000 designers, builders and industry influentials from over 50 countries to examine the state of the industry and the new innovations that are emerging into the market. Kingspan’s new booth will focus on sustainable building and design, highlighting the company’s range of high-performance insulated metal panels with experts available to provide technical information. The new exhibit will also feature three stations: Net Zero Energy, Sustainability, and Installation/Speed of Build, with presentations on sustainability and installation available. The exhibit will also feature products and information from Morin, a Kingspan Group Company.
