METALCON Creates Executive Service for Exhibitors

   Author: Marge O'Connor
Location: Newton, MA

February 10, 2011, Newton, MA – With a reputation for delivering superb service to exhibitors in the most innovative way, METALCON International has again come through with a red carpet style amenity called the METALCON Executive Club (MCEC).

MCEC delivers what exhibitors have asked for because it helps achieve their trade show objectives. Located conveniently in the exhibit hall, MCEC provides a place for exhibitors to meet with customers and prospects in a private business-like setting.

The concept reinforces METALCON’s reputation as the place to meet, notes METALCON Show Director Claire Kilcoyne. “Exhibitors recognize METALCON as a significant industry event, where professionals the world over gather to develop business. We took that a step further by providing an additional platform for exhibitors to grow their business. The METALCON Executive Club makes it easier for exhibitors to streamline relationship building and augment their sales process, whether they’re a start-up or a well established business. Our core philosophy is customer service and that centers around helping companies advance their businesses. Creating MCEC is an extension of our reliable service orientation that is the foundation of METALCON.”

Although METALCON is still eight months away, membership in the MCEC has taken off since its January launch. Todd Miller, president of Classic Products, Inc., Piqua, OH, sums up what others have said: “We all go to trade shows hoping to achieve great things for our companies. But, once there, we’re pulled in many directions by what seems like a million people all at once. It becomes very difficult to find a place and time to get away with clients and prospects for serious discussion. The folks at METALCON are bringing great value to their exhibitors with the new Executive Club. It gives exhibitors an opportunity to turn a trade show from a social event into a serious place to do great things for our businesses.”

Participating companies also include ATAS International, Allentown, PA; Englert Inc., Perth Amboy, NJ; MBCI, Houston, TX; Metalforming Inc., Peachtree City, GA; and RAS Systems LLC, Peachtree City, GA.

METALCON International is the only annual conference and exhibition dedicated to metal construction products, technologies and solutions. The 21st annual METALCON International takes place Tuesday, October 11 through Thursday, October 13, 2011 at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, GA USA. Themed “Constant Evolution” the 2011 show marks 21 years of constant evolution of the industry and this event.

METALCON is sponsored by The Metal Construction Association and more than 100 related industry organizations and publications.

For more information about participating in MCEC, contact Linda Griffin, Director of Sponsorships at For information about exhibiting contact Paula Parker For general information visit, or call 800-537-7765 or 617-965-0055.
