Terra-Petra & BWE Announce National Expansion Plans

   Author: Laurie Pehar Borsh
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Los Angeles, CA (August 2011)--Terra-Petra, an environmental engineering company based in Los Angeles has recently announced its formal expansion into several key markets of the U.S. http://www.terra-petra.com/service-locations.

Due to its highly recognized expertise in the environmental engineering industry and having had tremendous success up and down west coast as well as in many other markets across the country over the last ten years, Terra-Petra along with its sister company, Building Waterproofing Experts (BWE) will expand into additional national areas in 2012--including Canada.

Headquartered in Claremont, California, President/Owner Kevin Buchanan stated: "With California having some of the strictest regulatory standards in the country, Terra-Petra's in-house expertise is deep---with specializations in the area of soil contamination conditions; services include testing, mitigation design, system installation inspections, Phase l & ll site assessments, and CQA/CQC monitoring. Terra-Petra also takes on oil well abandonment, gas station abandonment, and tar seepage projects. The company’s fee structure is also one of the most affordable in the country. Simply put, if you’re building on a “dirty” site, you will only stand to benefit from using Terra-Petra’s services."

BWE designs waterproofing systems for above-grade and below-grade applications. BWE has successfully designed systems to address challenging conditions on projects as deep as three levels below-grade. For above-grade applications, the company designs systems for planters, decks, and roof tops. Its resident experts are conversant with all major products available in the market, and they incorporate these products as part of our “best fit” design solutions tailored to each client. BWE systems are watertight—which is what clients demand and what they have become to be known for.

Buchanan is certain that that both Terra-Petra and BWE will be providing extensive national services in most areas of North America within the next two years. According to Buchanan, "Terra-Petra and BWE can bring a tremendous amount of value to any project in any location. We offer the right expertise, fast response, and a lower cost of service creates and will continue to create this kind of value as the company grows."
