Quarterly Sales of TUBOS Hit a New Record

   Author: Kate Gawlik
Location: Clearwater, FL

Clearwater, FLˇXApril 12, 2012: Tubos, Inc. is thrilled to announce a new sales record for its product called TUBOS„µ, a plumbing vent pipe extension. During the last quarter, sales climbed 820 percent throughout Florida.

ˇ§We introduced TUBOS to the Florida market in 2009, and we just had the best quarter since the launch,ˇ¨ said Kevin Morris, CEO of Tubos, Inc. ˇ§I cannot thank the sales representatives at ProRep enough for their efforts. I also want to extend my thanks to the contractors, specifiers and others who have tried TUBOS and now use it regularly.ˇ¨

TUBOS is a PVC system available in 4-, 3- and 2-inch widths to match standard vent pipe sizes. Each TUBOS has a 6-inch-long joint splice-sleeve insert at each end, so one TUBOS is designed for two applications. TUBOS is designed for commercial and residential applications on any roofing material in all climate zones. The product fits PVC and cast-iron vent pipes. The benefits of TUBOS compared with traditional methods include a faster installation with fewer tools. TUBOS also costs less, saving about $35 per application.

Danny Marrillia, head of the commercial division of Fosters Roofing Inc. in Brooksville, Fla., has been using TUBOS for about one year. He learned about TUBOS from ProRep, a Florida-based sales company. ˇ§ProRep is awesome to work with. They donˇ¦t take on just any product line, so when they bring a product to me, I take it more seriously. I trust the guys at ProRep because they are more selective in what they represent,ˇ¨ Marrillia noted.

Fosters Roofing has used TUBOS on about 15 commercial projects and one residential project, including a commercial project with 87 total roofing penetrations and 47 TUBOS installations. Prior to TUBOS, Fosters Roofing crewmembers used traditional methods for creating plumbing vent pipe extensions. ˇ§Before, we would send someone to the store with a list of supplies of couplings and PVC pipe, and they would always come back one coupling short. Now it is a no-brainer. The guys count the number of stacks and divide by two. All they have to do is go out to the truck and grab the right number of TUBOS.ˇ¨ The crews love TUBOS, Marrillia said, noting the product saves time and money with each installation.

While the Florida market is booming, TUBOS is available nationwide. People from coast to coast have discovered how TUBOS can bring plumbing vent pipes to code and meet standards in a faster, easier, more economical way. Learn more at www.tubos.biz.

TUBOS, Inc., located in Clearwater, Fla., was founded in 2009 by Kevin Morris and Rick Maddox. Morris has been involved in the architectural sheet-metal industry since he was 15, and Maddox has been roofing since 1974. Together, Morris and Maddox founded the company and invented TUBOS based on plumbing vent pipe extension problems they regularly encountered. TUBOS is a new and improved plumbing vent pipe extension. TUBOS, patent pending, is the fastest, cheapest and strongest method for extending your existing roof vent pipes/stacks. Itˇ¦s a user-friendly plumbing vent pipe extension to be installed at any location where the plumbing vent pipe height above the existing level of the finished roof system does not comply with applicable building code minimum requirements.

ProRep is a Florida-based sales company that represents roofing and waterproofing solutions throughout Florida. Visit smarterthanwater.com for more information.
